The finalists came from all over the world (Germany, England, Belgium, Greece, Denmark, Spain, Iceland, Turkey, France) and it was the young MILEN DIMITROV from Varna in Bulgaria who won the title in front of the 37 year old frenchman, Pierre-Yves LAZURE (2nd place) and Englishman Terry CHARD (3rd place - 38 years old from the Isle of Wight).

During the afternoon, each competitor had tested the World Final circuit that the Mondial Billes sculpters had built over the 5 days prior to the competition - A true work of art with over 100 metres of track, many beautiful sculptures and 40 tonnes of sand.
